Eminems Super Bowl ad for Lipton Brisk is a commercial about why the rapper doesnt do commercials.
The spot features a Claymation Eminem and the rappers real voice, explaining what happens when he gets asked to endorse products:I always say the same thing. First, we need some hot chicks. Second, we film at my house, so I aint gotta go anywhere. Third, I record my own song.
The Claymation version of Marshall Mathers is then shown in a recording studio laying down angry vocals for a rhyme about Lipton Brisk. Most of the lyrics are bleeped out by a watchful executive, presumably because they contain profanity, leaving only the final line: Cool refreshing iced tea, drink it!
Em explains that when he tries the products people want him to endorse, he always hates them. But after his Claymation self gulps down a Brisk iced tea, he exclaims, Damn, that is pretty good!
He makes one final demand to which the executive responds, No, we cant change the name to Eminems Shut Up and Drink It Iced Tea, which causes the rapper to push the man off the roof of a building and yell, See! That’s why I dont do commercials!
